September 20–26. AlleyWatch counted 12 NYC startup deals totaling more than $1.04 billion, roughly double the prior week’s $520 million across 17 deals.
The total was heavily concentrated: Cyera ($400 million), Precision Neuroscience ($250 million) and Rightway ($155 million) accounted for about $805 million, or 77% of the reported total. So it was a banner week for dollars raised, though fewer companies closed rounds than the week before.
